Pendolino Warsaw - Gdańsk

The Warsaw - Gdańsk route connects the capital with the coast, and is served by Pendolino and Intercity trains. The choice between them mainly depends on whether journey time or a lower ticket price is more important.

The fastest train takes over two hours, while the other services take from over two to over three hours. You can choose a specific service for your selected date from the list of connections on PolishTrains, indicating the train category suited to your travel plans. A ticket purchased through PolishTrains arrives on your phone by SMS or as a code in the app, so there is no need to print anything before boarding the train.

A traveller choosing between Pendolino and Intercity will usually pay from around PLN 70 to around PLN 160 for a ticket at the regular fare. Which option works out cheaper mainly depends on how far in advance the seat was purchased. Statutory discounts, for example for children or students, reduce this amount regardless of the selected train category. If your travel plans change, a ticket purchased through PolishTrains can be exchanged online for another date without visiting a ticket office.
