Pendolino Sosnowiec - Warsaw Central

The route connects Sosnowiec with the capital’s centre and is suitable both for commuters and for people travelling on official business. The Pendolino journey takes over two hours, and some services run without a change.

A passenger with a bicycle or a larger suitcase should reserve a seat with the appropriate marking when buying the ticket, as there is little luggage space in the carriage. Seat reservations are compulsory on Pendolino, and you can buy a ticket with an assigned seat on PolishTrains together with the basic ticket. A parent travelling with a small child can choose a seat in a carriage with additional space when buying the ticket.

On PolishTrains, statutory discounts, including those for people with a moderate degree of disability, reduce the ticket price. A standard-fare ticket for this connection usually costs from around PLN 65 to around PLN 95, with the difference mainly explained by the time of purchase — the earlier, the greater the chance of a lower price. A ticket for Intercity trains running on the same route may be cheaper than one for Pendolino, and you can check which option offers better value on PolishTrains before choosing a service.
