The Gdynia–Kołobrzeg route runs along the coast and connects destinations that are popular in summer. The fastest journey takes over two hours, and some services run without a change.
Those who buy a ticket in advance usually pay less than passengers boarding without a reservation – at the regular fare, a ticket costs from around PLN 20 to around PLN 100. A ticket bought from the conductor on Intercity costs more than one bought online, and you can compare the fares for your chosen service in the PolishTrains search engine. You can take a bicycle only in carriages with a designated space, and there are fewer of these on Pendolino than on Intercity. A family with a child or a passenger with larger luggage will have more space on an Intercity train – you can check the availability of such places for your chosen service on PolishTrains when making your reservation.
